Wack Pack Update: Beetlejuice

Howard Stern Show's Beetlejuice made an appearance in North Bergen on August 28, 2009. It is his first appearance since his manager died in prison over a month ago.

Beetlejuice, star of the upcoming reality series "This is Beetle," in North Bergen supporting his pal and mentor Bobby Rooney during a fight in North Bergen.

"It's about livin', livin' life. It's my life whether there's cameras there or not!" exclaimed famed Howard Stern sidekick and Jersey City native Beetlejuice, talking about his new reality series, which chronicles his hilarious exploits with best friend Bobby Rooney, a Bayonne native.

The Jersey Journal caught up with Beetlejuice last night before Rooney's boxing match against Toris Brewer at Schuetzen Park in North Bergen and he shed some insight into the new show, "This Is Beetle," premiering Oct. 29 Howard TV On Demand.

In one episode, Beetlejuice visits the dentist -- "I'm a brave dude, yeah, I take it like a man!" he said. In another, he visits a tanning salon and ends up getting sprayed with soda.

Director and producer of the show, Keith Fenimore, joked that it helped even out his complexion.

And there's plenty of drama coming up on the series, especially between Beetlejuice and his mortal enemy, Dominic, "a dwarf."

"He's a dwarf, I don't like that guy! He steals, he smokes drugs! He jumped out of my cake wearing a pink thong and a cotton ball!" he said, describing an episode about his birthday, which involved a, um, surprise.

Beetlejuice describes the show, saying, "It's going to be crazy, it's going to be sexy, girls are going to get naked, anything!"
