LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are searching for a 28-year-old former swimsuit model last seen Thursday afternoon.
Family members say Jasmine Fiore was last seen at her Fairfax District home on Thursday afternoon. The swimsuit model recently moved to the area from Las Vegas to open a personal training business.
Her friends and her mother are extremely worried.
"It seems as if they kept in contact with her pretty frequently. So this is something that they are very concerned about, as are we," said LAPD Officer Sara Faden. "We want to make sure that she is fine. If anybody knows any information we would like them to come forward and let us know."
Jasmine's mother says that she was in Los Angeles last week to visit her daughter. She says that Jasmine was on her way to San Diego to attend a poker tournament.
Her white 2007 Mercedes CL S550 with black rims, tinted windows and paper plates that read "Platinum Motors," is also missing.
"Anybody who even see's a vehicle that may resemble this description, we ask that you give us a call," said Officer Faden.
Jasmine's mother says that her daughter has worked as a coordinator for Playboy's "Girls of Golf." She has also modeled for Las Vegas hotels and has done advertising for radio personality Howard Stern.
Jasmine Fiore also recently dyed her hair black and changed her last name Kinkaid. She is described as white, 5 feet 7, about 120 pounds, with blue eyes, according to police.
