Comedian, actor and female impersonator AMING was joined FFI 2008 Red Carpet. He showed up in a new blonde hair and large sunglasses. AMING is one of FFI 2008 Best Actor nominees (Doa Yang Mengancam/Threaten Pray). Vino G Bastian (Radit & Jani) beat out him.

FFI 2008 Red Carpet - Slamet Rahardjo

"Don't ask me about Marcella Zalianty's case! Please ask me something else, about movies or Festival Film Indonesia!" Slamet Rahardjo replied when he was asked about Marcella Zalianty.

Five Minutes Band is return with the new formation, new style and without “SARONG”. Five Minutes are now Ricky Tjahyadi (keyboard), Richie Setiawan (vocal), Drie Warnanta (bass), Roelhilman (guitar), and Aria Yudhistira (drum). Former vocalist [Sanny] and Sonny [guitar] resigned.

The band was spotted on the crowd of FFI 2008.

A red carpet is traditionally used to welcome VIPs such as dignitaries and celebrities at formal events. All the FFI 2008 VIPs including nominees, presenters and performers should walk on the red carpet exactly when they were arrived. It wasn’t happen on the FFI 2008 red carpet. Moreover, Julie Estelle, Laudya Chintya Bella, Wulan Guritno, Gita Gutawa, Pevita Pierce and Cathy Sharon were not walked on the FFI 2008 red carpet. The FFI 2008 red carpet is SUCK! Because it was SO yesterday [80's] and SO many bureaucrat.
