Voters often see celebrities as "people they know" this gives celebrities a kind of credibility that normal politicians do not have. Voters are much more likely to focus on their background and personality than their substantive stances.

Efilien Yonata - the girl with Al Amin Nasution

We all knew that House of Representatives member Al Amin Nasution of the United Development Party (PPP) and also the husband of famous dangdut singer Kristina was arrested at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jakarta on 9th April by agents of the Anti Corruption Commission (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi, KPK). The KPK also seized Rp 67 million in cash from Amin's car as evidence. KPK deputy chairman Moch. Jasin said Amin was promised Rp 3 billion.

But by the way, who is the girl with Amin? There are three version of explanations.

1. Kristina,” Wanita itu pacar temannya abang”.
2. KPK’s spokesperson, “She is Amin’s staff”
3. Media, “The girl is believed to be a prostitute”
