After a lot of speculation, the replacement for Health Net as title sponsor of the four-time top NRC men's team is now official – OUCH Sports Medical Center, based in Temecula, California, will take over the sponsorship of the team run my Momentum Sports Group, to be officially named OUCH presented by Maxxis. As well, it is confirmed that Floyd Landis will join the team following the end of his suspension in January of 2009.

Dr. Brent W. Kay, MD, co-founder and executive director of OUCH Sports Medical Center, is the impetus behind the sponsorship. Dr. Kay is Landis' long-time personal physician, and testified at his USADA arbitration hearing. He is also the doctor who oversaw his hip resurfacing surgeries.

"We are very excited to showcase Floyd's Smith & Nephew hip, to play on the bionic man theme with his return," Dr. Kay told Cyclingnews. "We think it is going to set a precedent about what these joints can do."

As for how the sponsorship came about, as well as combining it with the plan for Landis' return, Dr. Kay said that the pieces just fell into place. "I knew that Health Net was not going to be sponsoring any more, and the opportunity just presented itself, so I jumped on it. I am really excited because I want to help Floyd return and also it is going to help get out message out. We are going to do some seminars next year about joint replacement, not just to the athlete community but also to the general public. "

Dr. Kay is himself an accomplished track cyclist, who attempted to break the world hour record for ages 40-44 in 2006. "I started cycling at age 40; I had done triathlons for twenty years before that, but because of severe arthritis in my shoulder I got into cycling. Shortly after that I met Floyd on a ride near my home."

OUCH is not new to cycling sponsorship, as it was the sponsor of American track star Sarah Hammer for her 2006-2007 season. It also supported the American Women's Track Cycling Fund. Dr. Kay said that currently the plans for a track team are still to be determined.

A story about Abdullah Kahirul Azzam, an Indonesian student that comes from outlaying place just to continue his study at the Egypt. Azzam is a hard workers. He has a few litlle sisters, so with his all hearts and soul he has to sacrifice by becoming the meatballs seller and create tempe (fermented soybean cake). The story is full of advice. Azzam learn in Al Azhar University, because he got a schollarship from the religion Ministry. He is a prototype of Indonesian that is smart, clever, and humble, but he was born from a poor family. His intelligence has been proved on his first year at Al Azhar, he got the jayyid jidda (special), and the he got a shcollarship from Majlis A'la. But on his second years, his father that live in Indonesia passed away because of an accident. After his father's passed away, his mother has been poor in her health.

Rapha Roller Race, Portland - Fun Biking From Rick B.

This is a Roller Race ingeniously mixed with a cross race. A party mixed with pageantry, showman-and-showwoman-ship. It was spectacle or 12 men’s and 4 women’s teams competing for glory and prizes.

The Rapha Cross Roller Race was a highly competitive and thoroughly costumed night of 500 meter on-stage roller sprints combined with running, dashing and jumping through a 250 yard indoor cross course, complete with barriers, run-ups and Zoo-Bomb bikes.

I've Missed the Boobs as Much as You Have!

Hey everyone. Wow...it feels like forever since I wrote to you on here. I've missed it more than you'll ever know.

I'm getting ready to go meet a few friends to have a quiet bday celebration, so I can't make this as long as I'd like to. But that's good news for you guys, cause as you know, I can get long winded. I just wanted to pop on and first of all thank all of you for your birthday wishes, and your get well soon wishes and your "where the hell have you been??" wishes. It means a lot to me to have so many people care that much.

I promise to sit down either tomorrow or this weekend and write out a proper explanation of where I've been and what's been going on recently, but for now I will just say that it hasn't been an easy couple of weeks for me. Or an easy month for me really. I've seen some of the lowest days of my life recently, and if it weren't for the most amazing friends anyone could ever have, and the love I have for my mom and family, I don't know if I can honestly say I'd be here able to write this to you right now.

The good news is, there's a happy ending. And not just the kind of happy ending that we all like to get in the back of Gay Pizza on a friday night while waiting in line for the bathroom.

I'm doing much better...I'm feeling better about life in general. And most importantly, I will be able to share my story with you and hopefully help some other people who might be going through something similar. I can't wait to do that...it's the most important part of what I do. (Just shy of the showing you boobs part)...

Also, I'll talk about this a lot more in the next couple of days obviously, but PLEASE if you live in California and you're 18 or older, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote NO on Prop 8 either in early voting or on Tuesday.

I can't wait to celebrate Barack's win next week. We'll have a big online party where we'll laugh, we'll cry...and maybe, just maybe...someone will flash a tit. Stay tuned...

I love you all (except that one creepy dude. you know who you are)...and I ONCE AGAIN thank you for helping to save me...even though you had no idea you were doing it. More info on that later...
